These Links will change your life. You should visit all of them, over and over again, everyday.

This is a very self-indulgent collection of Claudia Alick related sites. If you mention Claudia on your site and would like to be added to this list please email me.

SmokinWord.com
This is the official web-site for my theatre/publication company. It includes our mission statement, production history, and current events. It is the place to go if you want to purchase any of our books or get your own work published. It is also a great resource for hip-hop theatre and spoken word.
Hotmud.net
This is the original home of Street-Poetry. This site is a fun hodge-podge of news, conversation and art. It's very intereactive with links imbeded in most of the text. Street-Poems are surrealist poems that I "collect" by having stangers in interesting places write lines of poetry after only seeing what the person before them wrote. The results are poetic, interesting (sometimes a bit random!) and often evocative. I started posting these poems on hotmud so the people who wrote them would have a place to access them. Use hotmud's handy-dandy search engine to check out the best work by typing in the key word "streetgirl" That's my handle! I reccommend the seagull series and the sept 11 poems.
Banshee Productions: Oyl
My first New York Production. The Artistic Director Emily is a real hep chick who does interesting work with poetry. Visit her site and see a chorus of Olive Oyls from Popeye. (I'm the black one) Talk about surreal!
Cherry Red Productions
The original producers of my first hip-hop play "Boxing Ennui". Artistic Director Ian Allen is a man with vision. He commisioned work from 7 playwrights asking them to use one of the 7 dwarves and one of the 7 deadly sins. The Seven Deadly Dwarves is a wacky, offensive, HILARIOUS play...and is available for purchace on this web-site.
Dialogue Through Poetry
This is the poem I collected for Poets for Peace after Sept. 11 at a fund raiser. The event featured many great poets, musicians, and speakers. The poem that resulted was an nice addition to the Sept. 11 collection of streetpoems. I didn't format this version of the poem. Go to hotmud for a readable copy.
Alleyway Theatre Playwrights' Corner
This is the theatre company where I am a finalist for the Maxim Mazumdar Playwriting Award.
DC Report August 1997
OLD SCHOOL. Review of a play I was in in 1997. Scenes from the New World by Eric Bogosian. It was directed by Steven Carpenter who is a very cool guy who got me into books on tape.
TorchArt.com
This is a great site dedicated to surrealism. I have to say of all the editing jobs done on one of my street poems this is the BEST!

The Idler,vIIIn115
This is a great review by Alexander C. Kafka of "Boxing Ennui" in The Seven Deadly Dwarves.
Lucky Spinster 'Zine
This is Callie Kimbal's fun personal website. She graciously linked me and I could do nothing but return the favor. Check it out. She's a hoot.
David Mills-Low
This is my brother in laws website.  My sister built it.  He is a writer and actor.
